Dedicated to Your Growth
About me
I'm Cheryl — a Psychology graduate with over a decade of experience supporting learners of all ages and abilities. I’ve spent 12 years as a teaching assistant, over 10 years in care, and time as a care manager. That mix of experience means I bring calm, structure, and genuine understanding to every session.
I believe learning should never be one-size-fits-all. That’s why I take a holistic approach, focused on the whole person — not just the subject. Whether you’re an adult returning to study, or a parent of a home-educated child who’s finding their way, I meet learners where they are.
Some need to sit at a desk.
Some need to lie on the floor.
Some need five minutes of chatting before they can even think about maths.
That’s all valid. What matters is that learning works for them.
For adult learners especially, comfort and confidence come first. Some feel best learning from home. Others prefer a quiet corner in a local library, or even a relaxed coffee shop chat to break the ice. My role is to support you in the space — and at the pace — that feels right for you.
My sessions are shaped around each learner’s pace, needs, and preferred style — without stress, without pressure, and always with kindness.
If you think you or your child might benefit from this kind of support, I’d love to chat — no pressure, just a conversation about what you need.
